‘Downton Abbey’ costumes to go on display in NC

    ASHEVILLE, NC (AP) — American fans of “Downton Abbey” can soon see an exhibition on the show’s costumes in Asheville.

    The Citizen-Times of Asheville reports that tickets for a show entitled “Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times” are now on sale.

    The show features more than 40 costumes from the series, about to enter its fifth season.

    The outfits will be shown within Biltmore House. As always, season pass holders may visit any time but may need free timed tickets for admission to the house on busy days. The exhibit runs through Memorial Day.

    Tickets are available online at www.biltmore.com/visit/. The new season of PBS’ Emmy-winning series makes its British TV debut in a few weeks.
