Laney edges New Hanover in soccer; Wilmington Tigers begin playoff run at home Saturday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Tigers secured a playoff spot over the weekend with a 22-13 win over the Palmetto Hurricanes at Legion Stadium in a Mason Dixon League football game. Wilmington finished with a 7-4 record in the regular season. The Tigers will open the first round of the playoffs at home this coming Saturday at 7:00 against the Tri County Crusaders at Legion Stadium.
