Season ends in “4-A East Finals” for New Hanover boys soccer team

    RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — Broughton High School will play for a state soccer championship on Saturday after beating New Hanover 5-2 on Tuesday in the “4-A East Finals” for boys high school soccer. Matt Brickhouse scored 3 goals for Broughton. Ian Bennett and Franco Fernandez both scored second half goals for New Hanover.
