It’s the 23rd annual Greek Festival in Wilmington. There will be traditional food from gyros to pastries. Hundreds will gather to sample treats from the Greek culture.

There will also be traditional music and dancing performances which will continue throughout the weekend.  Cassie Snow will performing all weekend long. She says one of her favorite parts of the Greek festival is sharing her heritage with others.

“I love to be able to share you know my Greek experience with everybody,” Cassie said.  “And get them to know how happy it makes me, and to have them experience everything too.”

There is also a marketplace featuring clothing and jewelry as well as tours of the sanctuary at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

The festival will be open on Saturday from 11 am til 10 pm and Sunday from 11 am til 7 pm. It’s just three dollars to get inside and join in all the fun.
