NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Viewer Jill McCann says yesterday she, her son and her dad were fishing at Inlet Watch near Carolina Beach, when some bull sharks showed up. She says the biggest one looked to be around nine feet long.
They tossed some fish in for the sharks, and some brave pelicans tried to join in on the feast as well.
“We here on the east coast are lucky enough to have the ocean as our playground,” Jill told us. “It is home to these sharks and other ocean life. Let’s remember that and respect their home by not littering, picking up any trash you see in the water and on the beach and standing up and speaking out against the pollution of our ecosystem!”
