WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tropical Depression Grace is still moving through the Atlantic, but is having a hard time holding it’s own as upper level wind shear is taking it’s toll on the storm.
Grace is just under 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles Islands with sustained winds of 30 mph. The storm is moving directly to the west at 17 mph and is expected to continue on this motion.
Tropical Depression Grace is forecast to track west through the central Atlantic over the next several days. The storm is forecast to weaken into a weak area of low pressure in the next three days as it approaches the Leeward Island.
The WWAY weather team will continue to track the storm this coming week and bring regular updates.
