WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Cucalorus Film Festival and Connect Conference kick off events next Tuesday November 11.
The festival has been named “one of the coolest festivals in the world” by MovieMaker Magazine. This year the festival and conference will focus on a unique blend of film, and business and entrepreneurship.
There will be a line-up of indie and international films, virtual reality, and women in technology with over 160 events and 260 films.
Festival Director Dan Brawley says a noncompetitive and laid back atmosphere distinguishes Cucalorus from other major film festivals.
“We really focus on supporting independent artists, supporting emerging artists and showcasing work by people who are in that experimental phase,” said Brawley.
