Sheriff James A McVicker says, “This operation lasted two months. Many times folks do not think we are doing anything to combat drugs, but when we start this type of investigation, we know it may take several months to complete.” McVicker added there are others involved with the two arrested today and additional arrests will be made in the near future.

Officials say Hurst and Brisson have been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver, and maintaining a dwelling for the sale of controlled substances. The two were arrested at their home. Both received a $10,000 secure bond.
