COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – A former agent with the S.C. Law Enforcement Division has been charged by the agency in connection with several domestic violence incidents.
SLED said in a statement on Friday that 26-year-old Rodney Sinclair Bostick is charged with kidnapping, two counts of second-degree domestic violence as well as third-degree domestic violence.
An affidavit said Bostick threatened the life of the alleged victim, who authorities said suffered bruises and scratches to her back, chest, arm and face. Arrest warrants also say the woman was choked on two other occasions, once as her son watched.
Bostick is also charged with misconduct in office for obtaining motor vehicle records under false pretenses. He is in the Lexington County jail. No other details were available and it’s not known if he has an attorney.
