WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Unlawful eviction and discrimination, those are just two of the complaints filed in a federal lawsuit against the New Hanover County Airport Authority.
ISO Aero Service filed the lawsuit in April.
The complaint states the Airport Authority, including Airport Director Julie Wilsey and Deputy Director Gary Broughton, discriminated against them and showed favoritism toward ISO Aero Service’s competitor, Air Wilmington.
Broughton and Wilsey are also named in the lawsuit.
The suit seeks a jury trial, damages, as well as an injunction ordering the Airport Authority to adopt new policies to avoid discriminating against other tenants.
