WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – If you attempt to vote on election day and registered at the DMV, your name might not be on the voter rolls.
Plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the state claim the DMV is not properly processing voter registrations.
State Board of Elections Spokesman Patrick Gannon says people will still be able to vote. f you’re not on the list, you must tell an elections official you registered at the DMV.
Last week a judge ordered voters who may be affected by this must be given a provisional ballot.
Remember, you can still take part in One-Stop Early Voting until Saturday.
