WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Forget a love triangle, this guy is juggling three fiances! Things breakdown quickly in ‘Boeing Boeing’ at UNCW this weekend.
‘Boeing Boeing’ tells the story of Bernard, a bachelor living it up living in 1960’s Paris. Bernard is engaged to three airline stewardesses, but things get turbulent when the invention of the new Boeing jet lands all three in town at the same time. Bernard’s planning is further thrown off by a visiting friend, Robert, who can’t seem to keep all the lies straight.
Director Ed Wagenseller joined us on GMC this morning to explain the farce. Watch the full interview about for more.
‘Boeing Boeing’ runs February 16-19 and 23-26 at the UNCW Cultural Arts Building Mainstage Theatre. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sunday.
Tickets are $15 for the public, $12 for seniors, UNCW employees, and alum, and $6 for students.
