Laney’s Nathan Faulk steps down after 5 seasons in Buctown

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  Nathan Faulk did a great job promoting Laney High School basketball with an assortment of events at the Michael Jordan Gymnasium, but Faulk is no longer the boys head basketball coach in Buctown. Faulk has decided to step down after 5 seasons as the boys head basketball coach at Laney High School. Faulk replaced longtime Laney basketball coach and athletics director Fred Lynch in 2012. The Buccaneers never had a winning record in Faulk’s five seasons as the Laney head basketball coach.
