WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The city of Wilmington is looking to work with the developer of the Pier 33 property to open new restaurants on the pier.

City Spokesman Dylan Lee says they anticipate the city will submit a plan for provision of public bathrooms in the coming weeks.

These plans should be submitted before the restaurants open.

That’s what is required in the development agreement.

    The Development agreement doesn’t indicate that by just submitting plans to build a bathroom the restaurants can open it doors. The bathrooms must be constructed first !
