Four names who are not on this list are former UNCW golfer Thomas Bass, who just missed the cut at three under, and the other former and current UNCW golfers who made it to the qualifying round. But they say despite the conditions and resutls, they did the school proud.

“It’s good. It’s awesome to have that much representation,” UNCW golfer Thomas Eldridge said. “There’s a lot of talent, and we have a lot of talented guys. It was windier than usual out here which made it pretty tough but I would say it’s more me than the wind.”

The four top qualifiers will join the rest of the field Thursday in the Wells Fargo Championship.
