PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you live in Hampstead and Scotts Hill, you may notice low water pressure or even discolored water.
Pender County Utilities will begin routine maintenance on the Hampstead elevated storage tank located near Topsail High School. Crews will drain the tank to allow access for maintenance.
According to a news release, the tank is expected to be out of service for up to three weeks. The Topsail Elevated Storage Tank will still be in service to provide fire protection in case of an emergency.
