According to a police report, the armed robbery happened on Thursday, Sept. 28, and was called in as a home invasion.

The victim, a 49-year-old woman, told police that she had just gotten home from collecting rent when she thought she saw a shadow outside of her home near the car port. She went around to another door and saw a man trying to get into her home.

The woman said she tried to push the man out of her home when another man forced his way into the home, according to the report.

One of the men put a gun to her head and demanded money, so she gave them the $360 she had just collected in rent, the report stated.

The men then reportedly asked her where her food was and if she had a husband. The report says the woman responded that she had a husband and he would be back soon and “to take what ever they wanted as long as they did not hurt her.”
