WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — We are just days away from your chance to get dressed up, have a good time and support a good cause.
MDA is hosting its 3rd Annual Toast to Life Gala Friday night.
Doctor Alyson Hommel, a neurologist at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, spoke with WWAY’s Amanda Fitzpatrick about the event Monday on Good Evening Wilmington.
The black tie event is to raise awareness and provide help and hope to families living with Muscular Dystrophy. Proceeds will assist the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Eastern Carolinas Chapter in funding MDA’s local, free, fully-adaptive summer camp program for children with neuromuscular diseases.
The MDA Toast to Life Gala is Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside in Downtown Wilmington.
