The Vikings are playing at Scotland High School Friday night at 7:30.

The team is undefeated on the season and they are only two wins away from a state championship. Hoggard is looking for its first state title since 2007 and it would be the first under head coach Craig Underwood.

It meant so much to the players and coaches for their fans to come out and support them before their big night.

“The Hoggard football community has really rallied around this team. It’s such a special thing to be a part of and them showing up today, I know the boys were really excited about it. We’re very grateful for how blessed we are to have the community support we have here,” said Underwood.

Hoggard defensive end Logan Romano’s mother, Melissa Settlemyre, said, “It’s a really dedicated group of players and families and our motto the whole season has been ‘one team’ and I think this definitely solidifies that motto for our team.”

The first Full Court Press show of the season is Friday night at 11 on WWAY, but Dustin Dorsey and Joe Catenacci will also have all the highlights from the gridiron.
