(WZTV) — The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of 175,000 comforters due to mold concerns.
The comforters were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond locations nationwide and online. The recall involves Hudson comforters by UGG. They were sold in garnet, navy, gray, and oatmeal.
The affected products were sold in twin, full/queen, and king sizes from August 2017 through October 2017.
CPSC states mold can be present, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections for those with weak immune systems, damaged lungs, or allergies to mold.
Consumers with the comforters should return them to the store of purchase immediately for a full refund.
