NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you need a little extra love in your life, meet Lily.
She is a 2-year-old Beagle who absolutely loves to cuddle and is looking for a place to call home.
Lily’s previous owner told New Hanover County Animal Services she is both crate trained and house trained and has lived with male and female dogs as well as male cats. However, she is not familiar with children.
Lily is responsive to certain commands like “sit”, “stay”, “down” and “come”.
If you think she could be the perfect addition to your home, head to New Hanover County Animal Services.
County residents can adopt for $70.
Adoption services are available between Noon and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to Noon. This Saturday, though, there will not be adoption hours because of the Free Rabies Clinic.
