NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Some voters who might be busy at work during the week will get to head to the polls on a Sunday during one-stop voting.
On Wednesday, the NC State Board of Elections approved an early voting plan for New Hanover County.
The plan includes early voting on Sunday, April 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the New Hanover County Board of Elections.
New Hanover County residents were able to vote on a Sunday during the March 2016 primary. More than 600 votes were cast during that eight hour period, according to the New Hanover County Board of Elections.
One stop voting starts April 19 and ends May 5.
