Carolina Beach votes on food trucks, pulls Pedal Pub application


CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach Town Council discussed both food trucks and pedal pubs at their Tuesday night meeting.

According to Carolina Beach Mayor, Joe Benson, council voted to allow food trucks in non-residential districts.

Benson also said an application for a Pedal Pub franchise was pulled for another council meeting because they need to add more routes.

In March, council voted to allow the franchise onto Pleasure Island.

Benson said council will readdress the Pedal Pub franchise applicant during their regular meeting on May 8.
