According to the warrant, Brown broke into an apartment on Farris Court and dragged a pregnant woman outside by her hair and then repeatedly struck her in front of the woman’s children — ages 9, 5 and 3. The incident occurred on April 14.

The attack left the victim with a fractured toe and multiple scrapes on her knees and arms. The beating also resulted in the woman having contractions and “resulted in stress to the baby,” the warrant says.

The victim is 25 weeks pregnant, according to the warrant.

Brown is being held in the Wake County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is set for April 16.
