PITTSBURGH, PA (WWAY) — After all the dust settled in Dallas on Saturday, South Columbus graduate Pharoah McKever did not hear his name called during the draft. But he did get a phone call after it was over.
McKever, a tight end for Florida International University, signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers following the draft as one of 13 undrafted free agents to sign with the team.
The former Stallion transferred to FIU for his last year of eligibility after attending NC State. He brought in 26 catches for 294 yards for the Panthers in 2017 along with three touchdowns.
