HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A couple was arrested early Friday morning after an officer recovered evidence that they were living out of a needle-filled car with a 2-year-old child.
Tony Paul Eubanks II, 28, and Sasha Monique McElgum, 25, are charged with unlawful neglect of a child, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine, according to online detention center records.
Their arrests come after, at around 3 a.m. on Friday, an officer was patrolling near the Walmart off Seaboard Street in Myrtle Beach and saw a suspicious car in a parking lot with “tag lost” in place of the plate on the car.
The Horry County officer started running the information on the car through the system when the driver got out and approached, according to a police report.
