BRYAN, Texas ( – UNCW made a push midway through the final round to move into the top five, but the Seahawks weren’t able to maintain their momentum as they finished ninth on Wednesday at the Traditions Club, home of the NCAA Bryan Regional hosted by Texas A&M.

Advancing to the National Championships from the regional were regional winner Texas A&M, Clemson, Baylor, UCLA and Kentucky. The Aggies continued their steady play, combing for an eight-under-par 279 for the third straight round. Ole Miss’s Braden Thornberry advanced to the National Championship by finishing as the top golfer not on an advancing team.
