“Being selected as one of the recipients of the Wilmington Kiwanis Club Scholarship has been one of the most fulfilling opportunities of my life,” said Katelyn. “Not only has the scholarship money relieved some of the stress that comes with being able to afford college, but it has also given me the opportunity to be a part of an amazing organization.”

Every year the scholarship from Kiwanis is awarded to one first-year student and one second-year student. These scholarships at CFCC and UNCW are funded by proceeds from the Kiwanis Pancake Day, which is held each November.
