WILMINGTON (WWAY) — Habitat for Humanity helps people build a place to call home.
Friday they held their CEO build, which will become an annual tradition.
CEOs and other corporate team members joined the construction workers out in the field. The Development and Communications Director Lynne Wooten says that it was about having fun.
“We had a little bit of fun with it because we figured that most people that are here are type-a personalities so it’s gonna be hard to let other people tell them what to do so we have a lot of superlative awards that we’re gonna be giving away at the end of the day like the one who’s the most improved or the person whose the most organized,” said Wooten.
Wooten says the original CEO Build was postponed when hurricane Florence hit, and Friday ended up an ideal building day.
