This week’s Pet Pal is a four-legged friend who is looking for a forever home. People would describe him as smart, independent and confident.
Grady was a stray dog found running loose and his owner never came forward.
He is described by the shelter team as being a free spirit, which means he’s intelligent, confident and clever. He prefers to make his own decisions, but will listen if you make a good case. He wants to be treated as your partner in life, not just your pet.
A meet and greet is required for Grady and also, he would do better in a single dog home.
According to the New Hanover County Animal Services he killed 17 chickens at a previous home.
To meet him, head to New Hanover County Animal Services. County residents can adopt for $70. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to Noon.
