BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY)–It didn’t take long for the Laney girls basketball team to proved why they are the top seed in the Mideastern Conference tournament on Wednesday night. The Buccaneers jumped out to the 17-0 lead over the No.5 seed Ashley after the first quarter.

The Bucs would cruise the rest of the game to the lopsided 56-22 win over Ashley.
