BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you’re in Brunswick County and have leftover debris from Hurricane Dorian or any trash in general, you can now take it to the landfill for free.
Property owners and residents may dispose of all materials, except for hazardous waste, at the Brunswick County Landfill free of charge through September 21.
Metal, electronics, latex paint, and yard debris can be dispose, but they must be placed in the right area.
Businesses and commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.
You must show proof of property ownership or residency.
Brunswick County Landfill is located at 172 Landfill Rd NE in Bolivia. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
