WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Bellamy Mansion Museum of History and Design Arts will be hosting a festive party this weekend to mark its 25th anniversary of being open to the public.
Thousands of visitors walk through the doors of the stately mansion and gardens annually. In addition, lectures and workshops are held throughout the year making this Wilmington icon a unique attraction.
Originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7, the Bellamy Birthday Bash was canceled when Hurricane Dorian threatened the Cape Fear earlier in the week.
The party was rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, and will be held from 7-10 p.m.
The event includes a BBQ meal, drinks, games, music, selfie station, birthday cake and a silent auction. The silent auction will feature getaways, gift baskets, restaurant certificates, original artwork by artists who have exhibited at the Bellamy, food items, golf foursomes and more.
Lots of games will be held on the museum grounds including corn hole, giant jenga, etc.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Online tickets must be purchased before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Bellamy Mansion Museum of History and Design Arts is located at 503 Market Street in Wilmington.
