Cape Fear Academy boys soccer advances in State Tournament


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)–The Cape Fear Academy boys soccer team had no problem getting past their second round opponent in the NCISAA Class 3A State tournament on Thursday. The Hurricanes scored three goals in the first half on their way to the 7-1 win over Arendell Parrott.

Cape Fear Academy now advances to the State Quarterfinals where they will meet up with No.2 Carmel Christian on Saturday. The game will be played at 1:00 p.m. at Charlotte Latin School.
