Police: Four person arrested in man’s assault, car theft in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police say another person has been arrested in connection to a man’s assault and car theft that happened earlier this week.

Cassidie Faith Scott, 18, is charged with one count of assault inflicting serious bodily injury.

The Leland Police Department says it happened Monday afternoon around 12:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Carolina Avenue.

Alquan Depree Mosley, Alexander Allen Cain, and Trinity Leigh Clemmons, were also arrested in connection to the crime.

According to arrest warrants, Mosley and Cain allegedly assaulted a man, leaving him with  a fractured eye socket, broken jaw, and multiple teeth knocked out. The man was treated at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Scott is in jail under a $15,000 secured bond at the Brunswick County Detention Center.
