Wilmington Police say staff at the Good Shepherd House called 911 after the woman walked in and said she had been sitting on a dock at Greenfield Lake when four people assaulted and robbed her.

When police arrived, the victim, 51, was being taken to the hospital by paramedics.

When interviewed, the victim told police three females and one male had approached her while she was sitting on a dock near the boat rentals, and began taunting her.

Two of the females then pushed her down to the dock and struck her multiple times while the male continued taunting her. The victim suffered several injuries to her head, chest, arms and legs during the assault.

She realized, afterwards, that her phones had been stolen out of her backpack.

She described one of assailants as a black female around 5’6” tall and in the late stages of pregnancy. The second is described as a short, heavy-set black female with a “frizzy, short afro.”
