NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington reopened its doors Tuesday with new procedures in place for its staff and visitors to ensure safety.
There is hand sanitizer and hand washing stations, protective barriers, self-guided tours, and more.
Visitor Arunav Baruah said even with the changes, he was still able to enjoy his experience with his friends.
“We were just imagining ourselves like the sailors back in the day, and we were goofing off a bit, but we were kind of like trying to put ourselves in their shoes. That was the best part,” Baruah said.
Starting Wednesday, hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
