COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Columbus County is reporting one additional COVID-19 associated death along with two dozen new cases.
The person died while hospitalized, according to the health department.
Columbus County has 24 new cases of COVID-19 to report Thursday. There were six new cases of COVID-19 on June 9, eleven new cases on June 10, and seven new cases on June 11.
There have been 29 COVID-19 associated deaths in Columbus County.
Since the virus was first reported in March, the county says there has been 397 cases. 225 people have completely recovered from COVID-19 in Columbus County.
