LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police responded to a residence on Oakmont Court in reference to a breaking and entering Friday morning.
Responding officers located Aaliyah Nichole McLain, 24, in the area.
McLain was identified by eyewitnesses as having broken into the residence.
Police said she was in possession of stolen property from the residence from Friday, as well as property stolen from the residence during a previously reported breaking and entering on June 23.
Investigators interviewed McLain and charged her with two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of felony possession of stolen property, and one count of larceny of a firearm.
McLain was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center and remanded under a $50,000 secured bond.
