When crews arrived, OKI Fire Chief Chris Anselmo says they saw the home fully engulfed in flames. The fire was under control at approximately 1:00 a.m. on July 5.

Anselmo says the fire was contained to the home and a vehicle. Although, two neighboring buildings sustained exterior heat damage.

Anselmo said one family, a woman and children, were displaced due to fire. While they were OK, two firefighters were injured in the blaze. Anselmo says one firefighter was treated on scene and another was taken to a local hospital by Brunswick County EMS.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
