Month-long drug investigation leads to two arrests

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people were arrested following a month-long drug investigation in New Hanover County.

According to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremy Russell Greene 33, and Megan Emily Graham 29, were arrested on multiple drug charges after detectives served a search warrant at 8929 1B Stephens Church Rd. in late June.

When detectives entered the home, they reportedly found Greene sitting on the couch with a .38 revolver handgun. NHSO says Graham was also inside the home.

After a search, NHSO says detectives seized more than 80 grams of raw (unpackaged) heroin, three guns, methamphetamine and marijuana.

Jeremy Greene is charged with:

  • Trafficking Heroin (2 counts)
  • Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin
  • Possession of Heroin
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
  • Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance
  • Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling (2 counts)
  • Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
  • Possession of Marijuana


Megan Graham is charged with:

  • Trafficking Heroin (2 counts)
  • Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin
  • Possession of Heroin (2 counts)
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Prison or Jail
  • Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
