BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Pender County Board of Education voted unanimously on a plan for the upcoming school year during its meeting Tuesday morning.
Kindergarten through 8th grade students will go to school for in-person instruction either Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday. Students in this group would participate in virtual learning the other three school days of the week.
High school students will be divided up into three groups and will rotate one week of in-class learning with two weeks of remote learning.
Also, there will be a virtual learning options for students that would require a commitment for a semester.
More information will be available on this decision soon. Thanks for your continued patience during this process. pic.twitter.com/pUmT2eLAcf
