EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NECESSARY:

Live, work, and grow your career on the coast. WWAY, the ABC, CBS, and CW affiliate serving southeastern North Carolina, is seeking a News Producer to join our team.

This is not just a job for someone looking to stack a show. We are looking for a show doctor who can craft fast-paced, engaging newscasts that keep viewers informed. The ideal candidate will:

  • Build well-paced, dynamic newscasts
  • Write compelling teasers that keep audiences tuned in
  • Edit video to ensure high-quality, visually engaging content
  • Contribute to digital platforms, including the WWAY website and social media
  • Utilize strong storytelling and understanding of AP Style for writing
  • Be able to stay ahead of breaking news and developing stories

We’re looking for someone who wants to be a journalist, and not just someone who wants to work in TV. Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus.
