Hannah Patrick grew up in Birmingham, AL, before moving to metro Atlanta before high school. This is where her passion for news began. She was a part of the Brookwood High School broadcasting classes, which led her to become a proud Bulldog at the University of Georgia. Hannah earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital and Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Fashion Merchandising at UGA. One of the most influential parts of her college career was her time abroad at Oxford University in the United Kingdom. She had the time of her life exploring different perspectives of the world for 6 weeks. Throughout her time at UGA she was a contributing member of Grady Newsource, a student-produced newscast. She produced, wrote, shot, anchored and reported the local news. Before graduating, she interned for WXIA in Atlanta. With the WXIA team, she had the opportunity to write and edit her own stories. She was their first intern to front her own story live during the morning newscast. Hannah joined WWAY as a reporter in May 2014. In the summer of 2015 she became the weekend news anchor, and in August 2017 she moved up to anchor Good Morning Carolina and WWAY NEWS at Noon. When she's not telling stories Hannah is running all over the place... literally. Hannah has run countless 5Ks, 10Ks and half marathons. She even ran with a flip cam at Atlanta's annual Peachtree Road Race during her internship at WXIA. She is excited to continue exploring the Carolinas and the amazing coastline.
