After working as a production assistant at WWAY for a few years, Paul Blackmore moved to the news department to become a producer in 2011 and senior producer in 2012. Later in 2012, Paul won the Best Producer award from the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas. Paul is a proud graduate of UNCW. He lives in Hampstead with his wife Kelly and their daughters Chloe and Penelope.

Cape Fear Memorial Bridge lane closures

The North Carolina Department of Transportation will have intermittent right lane closures to vehicular traffic in both directions at the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge on US 17 Business/US 76 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday, February 20, 2011 to Friday, February 25, 2011 each night to perform bridge maintenance.
