http://www.wwaytv3.comTaylor joined WWAY in 2013 as a production assistant and sports
videographer. After graduating from UNCW with a bachelor degrees in
Communication Studies and History, she became the news photographer,
where she covered everything from breaking news and severe weather to
garden tours and festivals while behind the camera. Then in 2014 Taylor
moved in front of the camera as a reporter.
Taylor was born in New Jersey and lived in Illinois and New Hampshire
before moving to North Carolina in high school. Growing up she spent
most of her time on the stage acting in plays and musicals and dancing
on a competitive dance team. She's called Wilmington home since 2010, and
she wouldn't have it any other way. She instantly fell in love with the
charms and character of the historic port town.
When she's not reporting, you might not recognize her. That's because one
of Taylor's favorite hobbies is cosplay, or dressing up as her favorite
characters from books, movies, television, comics and more. She's
cosplayed as everything from cartoon characters to superheroes. Who
needs Halloween when you have conventions to attend?
In 2016 Taylor adopted a pug named Rory, and it was love at first sight.
When she's not in the newsroom she's adventuring with her furry
companion and taking in all the Cape Fear has to offer.
She loves to tell your stories, so drop her a line and tell her what's
going on in your neighborhood.
