The Gathering at the Bellamy Mansion Museum

Join us on Sunday, October 20, 2019 for “The Gathering” at the Bellamy Mansion Museum from 12:30 to 4:30pm. The Gathering is an event to recognize the research and interpretive advancements made in regards to the enslaved men, women, and children who lived on the Bellamy site prior to the Civil War. The event will feature a keynote speech by social activist and businesswoman, Barbara Bell-Coleman. There will be an African American quilt exhibit, performances by the Chestnut Presbyterian Men’s Choir, storytelling, and more. The event is made possible by a grant from the Women’s Impact Network of New Hanover County and is free to the public.
