Cameron Art Museum announces winter programs

The Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington is kicking off the new year with a huge list of programming for children and adults.  The events include Martin Luther King holiday programming for kids, homeschooling help, painting classes, readings, yoga, and the return of Jazz@cam.

Grobe signs new 10-year deal with Wake Forest

Grobe has signed a 10-year contract, keeping him at the school he led to an improbable Atlantic Coast Conference football championship last season. Grobe says the best thing about the new contract is he doesn't have to worry about chasing other jobs.

Hurricanes quiet as trade deadline passes

The Carolina Hurricanes failed to pull the trigger on any last-minute trades today. The defending Stanley Cup champions remained content to keep their ten NHL-caliber defensemen in the fold and allowed the trading deadline to pass uneventfully.
