Turnovers troubles continue to haunt UNCW. On Wednesday night the UNCW men's basketball turned the ball over 21 times against James Madison. The Duke downed the Seahawks 78-50 in Harrisonburg. UNCW is now 0-3 in the CAA this season. NC State manged to hold off Georgia Tech. Wake Forest won along with the Cape Fear Community College women.
If things had gone as planned, Alfy Hill would have won a second straight national championship with Alabama Monday night. Instead, the former West Brunswick High School star is heading to a school closer to home.

West Brunswick football coach Jimmy Fletcher says it best. "I tell Alfy he's the most traveled college student in America." The former West Brunswick standout is still enrolled at Los Angeles Valley Community College, but Alfy Hill plans to be a USC Gamecock in the near future.
The South Carolina Gamecocks made a formal offer to former West Brunswick Trojan Alfy Hill earlier this week. The former Trojan defensive lineman and linebacker won't be eligible to play division one football until 2013 though after stops at Alabama, East Carolina, Itawamba CC and Los Angeles Valley CC where Hill currently plays.
Alfy Hill was just "days away" from playing football at the University of Alabama. The former West Brunswick Trojan is now just "days away" from making his third collegiate choice in the last 14 months.
Alfy Hill is looking at the University of Alabama only in the rear view mirror now. Wednesday the former West Brunswick Trojan football standout enrolled at East Carolina in order to play football for the Pirates.
