CAA may soon add College of Charleston

Officials at the College of Charleston held an executive meeting Tuesday morning. Whether or not to join the Colonial Athletic Association was one of the items on the agenda.

CAA may invade the SoCon

UNC Wilmington will be the southern most school in the CAA when Georgia State leaves the conference next year. UNC Wilmington may end up with some southern neighbors with possible expansion in the south on the way.

NCAA bans UNCW men’s basketball team from postseason play

video On Wednesday the UNCW men's basketball team received news it didn't want to hear. The UNCW men’s basketball team will not be allowed to compete in postseason play in the 2012-13 season due to low Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores. The NCAA made that announcement on Wednesday.
